Institutional agreement between Swiss National Science Foundation, Luxembourg National Research Fund, the University of Lausanne and Copernicus Publications

We are delighted to announce that from now on, manuscripts that involve funding from the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) or the Luxembourg National Research Fund (FNR) will benefit from direct settlement of article processing charges (APCs).

All manuscripts submitted on or after 1 September 2022 are eligible as long as the respective funding agency is selected during the manuscript registration process and the manuscript text mentions the funding details.

Furthermore, the University of Lausanne has also signed an agreement with Copernicus Publications. All submissions made on or after 1 September 2022 that list a corresponding author affiliated to the University of Lausanne are eligible. Please select the University of Lausanne from the respective drop-down list during manuscript registration. Please note that the University of Lausanne has agreed to cover APCs up to €3,035 gross (€2,550 net). Should the APCs exceed this amount, the University of Lausanne will not cover any of the costs.
