Institutional agreement with TIB
Copernicus Publications has signed an institutional agreement with the Technische Informationsbibliothek (TIB) in Hanover, Germany. Article processing charges (ACPs) for papers by authors affiliated with the Leibniz Universität Hannover will be billed centrally from now on.
To make the publication procedure easier for the authors and more efficient for the library, invoices for articles published in any open-access journal by Copernicus Publications are now sent directly to the TIB. There, they will be covered directly.
"The TIB as the German national library for all areas of engineering, as well as architecture, chemistry, information technology, mathematics, and physics is a great partner," says Martin Rasmussen, Managing Director of Copernicus Publications. "We have been working with them on different projects like the TIB-AV portal for video uploads. It is great that we can now offer this payment service for TIB authors as well."
The institutional agreement with the TIB is valid for papers submitted after 1 January 2016 and covers papers with APCs up to €2,000 (gross) if the corresponding author of the paper is affiliated to the Leibniz Universität Hannover.
